Yinka Adesina is a Business Psychologist, Employability and Career Transition Coach, and a driving force for equitable career development through tech-enabled solutions.
With over a decade of experience in complex organisations, including the NHS, UK Parliament, King’s College London, and UCL, she bridges the gap between coaching research, Social Justice, and Positive Psychology. Yinka runs an evidence-based coaching, consulting, and research practice dedicated to helping professionals and organisations navigate meaningful transitions amidst AI adoption and workforce disruption.
Her coaching research methodology is deeply grounded in psychology frameworks such as PERMA-H, Career Construction Theory, and Transtheoretical Models. Applying an intersectional lens, Yinka recognises that career barriers are often systemic rather than purely personal. She specialises in Professional Identity Reconstruction, guiding diverse, displaced workers through burnout, role changes, and complex challenges to find strategic confidence.
Her impactful contributions to the field of business psychology and coaching research were recognised in 2024 when she was Highly Commended for the Peter Saville Award by the Association for Business Psychology. Yinka holds an MSc in Business Psychology from the University of East London and is a featured speaker at the Division of Coaching Psychology Conference.
