Brian Mhlanga is the Managing Director of Omanga Consulting. He is a DEI specialist, executive coach, educator, facilitator, mediator, speaker, and leadership development practitioner with more than 15 years of experience in higher education, finance, project management, international relations, communications, and advocacy.

He empowers leaders to turn diversity into a driver of performance and works systemically with individuals, teams, and organizations to improve performance and grow leadership competence, along with emotional and somatic intelligence. By blending industrial and organizational psychology with neuroscience-based coaching, Brian equips managers to lead with confidence, navigate complexity, and inspire collaboration. He transforms challenges into opportunities for innovation and growth as a skilled mediator and facilitator.

In addition to his coaching practice, Brian serves as an adjunct faculty lecturer at Henley Business School, Wits Business School, Duke CE, and Johannesburg Business School. As one of only four Deep Coaches on the African continent in private practice, he has extensive experience working with both the private and public sectors.

Brian is currently completing his PhD and brings fresh insights into how inclusive leadership can supercharge outcomes and create lasting organizational impact.
