FAQ's

Coaching Research Poster Presenters FAQ's

Must Research Poster Presenters be nominated by their faculty or university to be able to submit a poster proposal?

A  We encourage submissions from PhD, Postdoctoral Researchers and Early Career Researchers. Typically, successful submitters are currently enrolled in a relevant academic programme.

However, to foster diverse participation, we will consider submissions from researchers and coaching practitioners whose initiatives and work are highly aligned with the core conference theme.

All submitters are strongly advised to consult with an  academic advisor or supervisor before submitting and must obtain any institutional consent required for the public presentation of their work.

How soon after submission will decisions on the Research Posters selected be announced?

A  All submitters will be notified of the decision regarding their research poster proposal via email by February 1, 2026.

We aim to confirm selected research posters as soon as possible.

Are all Research Poster authors required to be registered for the conference to attend the Research Poster Session?

A Yes, if they want to attend the conference.

While not all co-authors are required to be registered, any author (lead, presenting, or co-author) who wishes to attend the conference, including the Research Poster Session, must be registered as a full conference delegate.

  • Presenting Author: The designated presenting author must register for the full conference to ensure the poster is officially presented and represented.
  • Co-Authors: Co-authors are not required to register unless they plan to attend the conference. If they choose to attend, they must register as a full conference delegate.

The in-person Research Poster Session on Day 1 is open to conference delegates and invited guests:

  • Registered Conference Delegates: All registered attendees have access.
  • Invited Guests: Guests who are not registered delegates are welcome to attend the Research Poster Session. Co-Author can request an invitation to the Research Poster session.
Can Research Posters be in the mother tongue of the presenting Researchers?

A  Yes, we welcome and encourage submissions in the mother tongue of the presenting researcher!

In alignment with the conference's commitment to diversity, we actively encourage presentations in a variety of global languages to showcase the rich tapestry of coaching research knowledge systems.

However, to ensure accessibility for our international and multilingual delegate base, the following requirement must be met:

  • Required QR Code: The research poster must prominently display a visual QR code that links directly to a complete, accessible English-language version of the research poster or a summary of its main findings. (we can provide an appropriate storage point)

This hybrid approach enables your work to be celebrated in your mother tongue, while ensuring that all interested parties can fully engage with and cite your research.

I'm an international Researchers, how can I get the research poster transported ahead of the start of conference?

A  No transportation is required.
The conference utilises a dedicated digital poster presentation system.

All accepted research posters must be submitted digitally as a PDF file.

The e-poster will be displayed on large-format screens during the Research Poster Session, removing the need for physical printing or travel arrangements for your poster.

Can Research Poster presentations be given in an alternate format, such as a poem or song?

A  No.  Since the research poster is a static PDF displayed on a screen, the researcher will be required to engage in an interactive dialogue and direct questions and answers (Q&A) from delegates.

This method ensures that the core academic content, methodologies, and rigorous commentary are clearly conveyed and accessible to all delegates.

Can music, sound effects, or video clips be included in the Research Poster presentation?

A  No. The e-poster system is designed to display a static, high-resolution PDF file. Therefore, audio and video elements cannot be embedded or played directly from the digital poster during the session.

This also serves to avoid intellectual property issues (copyright infringement).

We encourage presenters to visually represent their findings using charts, graphics, and text instead.

Can Research Poster presenters use other visual aids, such as a physical item or a costume?

A  We recommend limiting the use of physical items or costuming to ensure that the core research message remains the focus of the Research Poster Session.

If you plan to incorporate significant visual aids, please seek advice from an academic advisor or supervisor and ensure that any visual aids used are easily manageable within the designated poster space and do not obstruct the flow of delegates.

Can friends and family be invited to the Research Poster Session?

A  Yes, friends and family are welcome to attend the Research Poster Session!

The in-person Research Poster Session on Day 1 is open to:

  • Registered Conference Delegates
  • Invited Guests (including friends and family of the presenters)

While the overall conference is a ticketed event for registered delegates, we are happy to open the Research Poster Session to your guests, allowing them to support your work and see the research on display.

Please request an invitation for your guests, to ensure that we are able to monitor our numbers in accordance with health and safety requirements

I've just found out about the Call for Research Posters and submissions are closed. Can I still apply?

A  Although the official submission window has closed, the conference organisers encourage interested parties to contact us directly via email regarding a late submission.

We will make every effort to review all submissions that align with the conference theme.
